I have degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Management from the University of Lagos and the University of Cambridge respectively and have worked extensively across West Africa on oil and gas exploration projects for an international engineering services firm for the last seven years.

I’m fascinated by the interplay between governments and business in developing countries, concerned with the central and broad question of “how do we use technological advances to deliver more governance at a lower cost?” I’ve volunteered in the past with public and private organisations working in this space, including the Enabling Business Environment Secretariat of the Nigerian Government as well as The Platform Nigeria.

An avid reader with an eclectic taste and large library, I also love to travel and spend too much collecting African art in a variety of formats.
